Thanks for sharing - this is still bad and I can't believe this is still happening!

I have been in touch with Communications Direct in the past and they have set up an e-mail address for anyone who want to talk directly to the director - Deborah Curran - hypertony@docklandstelecom.co.uk - however this was in 2005 and I'm not sure if the e-mail address they set up is still working.

But worth trying.

Again, thanks for sharing.

I have had the worst experience of my life dealing with Communications Direct. They illegaly signed me up to a contract by obtaining my bank details by deception, saying they were going to do a credit check to see if i could get a contract, and would get back to me and see if i wanted to take out the contract. A few days later a phone turned up. When i rang them and spent hours on hold they finally told me that someone from the "retentions team" would contact me. This never happened. I started getting bills from 3 saying that i owed them money on a phone contract. I rang communictions direct again, and was on hold for hours, again, they told me that i was now outside of the 30 day return policy so couldnt send the phone back, i explained that i had told them i wanted to return the phone before this period and was waiting for my call from the "retentions team" but they wouldnt listen, i spoke to this same guy over and over again, every time i rang, he would never pass me on to anyone else and i really though he was just trying to fob me off and wind me up. So i went to the CAB and also sent details of my case to various watchdogs. My friend helped me write a letter which i sent recorded delivery to Communications Direct, it stated that i had not agreed to any phone contract and i was not going to pay them any money. They contacted me and said that if i sent them proof of my ID they would leave me alone and it would all be sorted out. I was rather worried why they wanted a copy of my ID but i sent it out anyway. I then didnt hear anything for a year or so. Then one day i get a letter from a Debt Collector saying i owe 3 £120. I ring 3 and tell them that they need to get in contact with Communications Direct for the money as i was illegaly set up into the contract, but 3 say that Communications Direct need to get in contact with them. So, i go back to Communications Direct who tell me that 3 need to get in contact with them, i spend hours, seriously hours speaking to these people trying to get this resolved but none of them do. This debt has since been passed from 1 debt collector to another all trying to get the money off me, threatening me with court action. The debt has also increased to £145. I keep thinking i should just pay the money because i am fed up of being intimidated and harrased by these people. I really wouldnt advise anyone to trust Communications Direct. It has been almost 4 years of hastle, and its still not sorted out. Looks like i will end up in court, which i dont really want to happen.

I had them call every day last week but I had a similar story last year when they offered me a free upgrade........I declined. They said they were part of T-Mobile (who I am with). I either missed their calls this time or ignored them. Another number to look out for is 01253 755788.

Had 2 calls on my voice mail, with just a small back ground noise. I decided to ring, to see who it is, and it was Communications Direct, annoying, to receive calls like this, and to learn off the net, the way they are mixing numbers up, to get numbers.
