Waiting at Norwich City car park and there are lots of preparations for the George Michael gig tomorrow evening.
Not looking forward to tomorrow as there will be some heavy traffic… Hope I can get in okay!
The 2nd day of work is over. My body aches.
But it was worth it. It’s all done.
Well almost… just need to have a carpet fitted first before doing nay work with the door.
But the partition wall, the electrical work and the door frame are fitted. Halfway done with filling in holes & gaps. Tomorrow, will carry on with filling in the holes & gaps before sanding down. Ten it will be wallpapered over (white wallpaper) to give a smooth finish before paining it over with the same colour as the current wall.
Anyway here are the latest photos

I must tell you… I am extremely happy with how it was turned out… and it was my first time doing it!
Any comments from you? :D
Man, I’m sooooo exhausted!
The delivery came at 11am. Started work straightaway and didn’t stop till 3pm, where we had lunch.
Then started again at 4pm and worked till 8:30pm. PHEW!!
And it’s not even finished. I blame the “first time” at doing this job of partition wall.
However I think I did well so far… the frame is up, the plasterboard is now on the front side. Just need to put up the plasterboard on the inside, do the door frame and that’s all. Cover up the screw holes and gaps with filler, leave it to dry and then wallpaper it over.
On the inside, need to sort out cable for the light switch and then finally a new skirting board.
Once the carpet is laid out, we will fit the door there.
In the meanwhile, here are some photos. Simon, any comments?

More work to do tomorrow but for now, I am going to rest! ![]()
Thanksfully my neck pain has gone less and I only have little pain on my left neck. So that’s a good sign of it improving.
Found out that delivery will happen between 10am and 11am, so we cleared out the porch and have the tools ready for some work.
We have some serious measurement work to do to get it perfect because this will be my first time doing up a partition wall! Hope I will get it right.
Hey all. First of all, happy birthday to Caz! I know its a bit late but I have been busy! Hope you enjoyed it.
Summer is fastly approaching and I have been keeping myself busy with the Summer works starting next month. More PCs, server upgrade (mostly moving some of the low use server to virtualization) to save costs and other things. Its pretty exciting to use new technology to save the costs.
Tomorrow, big delivery from Wickes - stuff for the porch, i.e. New door, plasterboard, wood frames, that lot to make a new partition wall. But at the moment I am suffering with a neck pain, which I think I pulled a muscle which is a bad timing as I want to get started with the building work.
Hopefully it will clear up by tomorrow!
So for tonight I am going to get some rest, watch TV and relax.
Have a great friday, yer lot!
Hm… England vs Brazil - I wonder who will win…
