Last night was good. We went to Fatso for dinner. Eveeyone who ate there were very full including us! Starter, main and dessert! Mmm, yummy.

We then headed to Glasshouse pub for a drink and chat with other people. Was planning to go to another pub, but it was geting late, so we didn’t go. We had enough as we was tired and we headed home. I think the others went to nightclub or not… need to find out.

Had a good sleep, woke up not long ago, but I’m still sleepy!

Another party tonight… and this time, it’s a treak to Suffolk - Lowestoft! I need to top up my car and put in some water for the windscreen washer as I’ve ran out of water a few days ago. 

Plans for today is to relax before going out tonight.

And for tomorrow, going to have my haircut - it’s long due and it’s getting long! :/

Off to my sister’s party. Dinner with the gang, then Glasshouse, then pub crawl along Prince of Wales road.

And the theme is Pirate!

Arrrr matey, shivers my timbers, whatever the pirate say.

What a great day we had. We did up both front & back garden.

Front Garden

Planted some veggie - potatoes and radishes in the veg patch. I also tidied up the old leaves and put them in the brown recycling bin. Hoe’ed the soil, rescued a baby frog, which I put in our pond and swept clean the path.

Back Garden

We planted some tomatoes and flowers in pots, cleaned the pavement, trimmed the tree outside the back garden, had a chat about improving the horrible flowerbed to make the driveway bigger. Was going to cut the grass but the grass were still wet, so have put it off. I’m going to check to see if it’s dry after posting this.

Overall, it has been a great day and we hope to have some great veggie food for us to eat.

We’re home!

The coach arrived Norwich at about 10:10pm, then walked to the car park at my workplace that took us 15 mins to pick up my car and then drove home.

We’re totally exhausted and are going to bed soon!

Heavy rain on the way back. Good thing the weather was lovely earlier!
Just gone past Corley and will be stopping at Cambridge for dinner break.
I feel a little bit sick from the chocs I ate lol.

Well that was an interesting tour with very strong smell of choccy everywhere and got loads of freebie choccy. Mmm yummy.

At last we have arrived. Chocolate, here we go!

Now at Welcome Break, having a break. 22 miles to go. Not long then.

Think we are at halfway point… Cambridge gone ages ago and we are nearly at kettering.
The coach is so small! My leg are sticking out on both side of the chair in front of me. :/
We should be stopping for a break soon.

Up since 6am. Think it’s cos I went to bed early last night!

Need to have a shave and shower before getting ready.

Really looking forward to this as this is our first “outing” for the 2007 as we have been sooo busy with our life and house thing, we didn’t have time to go out outside Norfolk!

So, yeah, we’re looking forward to it.

Further to my post earlier this morning, I drove past the car park this morning, it was indeed a car fire and as far as I can see, its an MGF.
Scums!

Last night, I got the missus to call RAC for me as I was waiting for the membership renewal paperwork to arive. Once we got to a person at the call center, guess whow e spoke to?

Yep, an Indian person. The missus has major problems with understanding what the person were saying. The missus asked for theprice and also the paperwork to be posted. And it went something like this…

Us: Can you please tell me the price for the renewal?
Them: £57
Us: Ok, thanks. Can you please send me the renewal paperwork in the post?
Them: £57
Us: Erm, ok, but can you please send me the paperwork?
Them: £57

And so on. The missus explained very carefully and clearly and they understood what she meant and said it will be in the post.

That was hard work!

And before you ask why don’t I pay over the phone, well I hate to say it but I refuse to do it to an Indian call centers as there are high fraud happening from India where they sold customer’s card details! I’m sure you’ve heard about it on BBC News and other sources. That’s why I asked for the paperwork so I can pay by cheque.

Anyway!

Work was okay today but alittle bit slow. Can’t wait for this weekend where a group of us are going to the chocolate factory up in Birmingham this Sat.

I was getting a crappy ADSL connection.

Until I came across this website - http://www.dslzoneuk.net/socket.php

So I started hax0ring away the BT socket and cables, leaving only wire 2 and 5.

Router stats:

Before - Down Speed: 2656000

After - Down Speed: 3968000

Much better! I’m now waiting for BT to update the MSR and BRAS profiles as it’s currently set to 2Mbps or so.

Hopefully once updated, that will give me an speed increase!

Check yours… but don’t blame me if you messed up the BT socket! Research, research, confirm twice before doing it.

The weird weather carried on all day today. Sleet, rain and strong cold wind. Hopefully today will be the last day for it.

Work today was okay. Two people are on their holiday so I am taking some of their jobs, which should keep me busy.

Had a banging headaches all afternoon and this evening. Have taken some pills and am in bed, watching CSI.

I really can’t wait for April… then I will have more leave to take.

It’s chucking down so heavy here. :/

It’s funny… yesterday was sunny and lovely, but with a freezing cold and strong wind. Then rain. Then hail. Then sleet. Then all of sudden, sunny again.

And now, today - snow!

What a wonderful UK weather we have here…

So far, it seems to be fine to go to work today, but who knows for later on?
