Norwich Deaf Club website launched!

I am pleased to announce that the Norwich & Norfolk Deaf Social and Sports Club website has been launched following the AGM on the 13th May 2006. The Committee members decided it was a good idea to move on to the future and enable us to reach further to everyone by setting up a new website and a message board, where we can discuss about the Deaf Club.

The website contains all of the information about the Deaf Club, our future Events, some photos of the past events & our projects, and much more.

ello there… havent posted for a while - been busy with the nice weather.

Well done to England for winning.

House stuff - moving on okay so far. Going to see the solicitor this Monday to check over the paperwork and sign it. So we’re near there… I’m looking forward to it and the missus is nervous.

Need to save up a bit more so can use the money to knock down the wall and re-do the bathroom. Need to draw up some plans first…

Weekend is here. Woohoo.

Tomorrow morning, do some shopping before heading to the theatre to watch Starlight Express in the afternoon, following with some bar work in the evening.

Then on Sunday evening, my friend’s 50th birthday party. Not sure about the daytime… maybe relaxing and some clothes watching.

The sky opened up and the rain came. Ahhhh. Nice and cool outside now.=20

When setting up your Out Of Office, please do it right.

Like a short note in the body of the e-mail.

Not attaching a Word document with the Out of Office e-mail, saying that the person is unavailable until specific date.

Man, last night was great! Over 30 people turned up for the event. The bar sold so many drinks & food, we need to order more!

My legs are sore from standing up and walking around helping all day (11:30am till 12am) and I was soooo worn out when I got home and went straight to bed!

But it was worth it and everyone are asking for the same thing, so hoping to do it this Thurs and/or June 20th. I’m glad everyone enjoyed it.

US politicians have rejected attempts to enshrine the principle of net neutrality in legislation.
Some fear the decision will mean net providers start deciding on behalf of customers which websites and services they can visit and use.

The vote is a defeat for Google, eBay and Amazon which wanted the net neutrality principle protected by law.

For the past few days, I have been following this page

It’s all about someone who left the Sidekick phone in the taxi and the person who found it decided to keep it for themselves… even using the same number and SIM. What they don’t know is that every information they stored on the phone, it get uploaded to T Mobile’s backup server (feature in USA), so they got some photos from the person who stole the phone, AIM sign ins and much more. And they tracked them down…

Lovely weather today.

Not long to go till the England football match. Going to be a long day for me and other commitee member. You see, we’re going to open up the Deaf Club about 12pm today, decorate the rooms, put up the projector to the wall, arrange seats and BBQ food.

We’re hoping a lot of people will turn up to watch it with us as our drink prices are cheap. Then a normal Deaf Social Club in the evening, so we’ll still be working though the night, taking turn.

So yeah a busy day ahead for us. But it should be good.

Going to have a shave, but there’s no hot water so I’m waiting for the boiler to fire up and warm up the water.

Just had a quick look at Big Brother on TV. Ugh.

Last year was ok, but this year is worse… I haven’t watched more than 1 hour worth of BB since the start of the show this year. It doesn’t interest me at all.

Yes, I do admit I watch it but only if there are something interesting happening but that’s all.

I mean, why would I want to watch Nikki going like “I’M SO COLD, I’M SO MISERABLE” (as seen in this morning’s repeat show)

Shut up, Nikki. Seriously. No one cares.

For what it’s worth, I hope Pete will win. I like his style.
