Well, well, we managed to do what we needed to do today - yay!
Even booked the van for Tuesday too.
Now we’re looking forward to a relaxing weekend before the big job on Monday!
Tonight, we’re going to the party. Rock on.

Yay, day off!
Got lots of things to do today.
* Call tax credit
* Drive to Norwich and do:
* Pay solicitor fee
* Pass on paperwork to N&P
* Sort out insurance
* Some shopping
* Duvet washing (and waiting, gah I hate that)
When we have done that, we either drive back home, get changed and then go out for a friend’s 21st birthday party/drink in the evening or stay in Norwich till in the evening, depending on what stuff we have done or not.
So a busy today indeed…
This is for yesterday which I forgot to post…
Work was busy! Something happened and we had to act fast to fix the problem. Thankfully it was not too bad and almost most machines are working fine.
After that, went to the club and prepared the room with a table and chairs for the NHS ladies coming over for a chat about how they can improve the NHS services for disabled people. A lot of us gave them feedback and they was shocked to hear how much we had to suffer to get support from doctor, nurse, etc. So they are going to follow them up and let us know which is good.
And headed home. Watched TV and bed.
Today has been an okay day. Did some researching around for the cheapest va=
n hire and I think I found one. Will be contacting them to find out if thei=
r van is available for hire next week.
This morning drive to work was terrible because of traffic due to Norfolk S=
how which are open today and tomorrow. Can’t wait for this to be over!
Two more days then I’m off from work for a week to do up the house. Need to=
put a plan and timetable of things to do during that week and get as much =
stuff done as we can. Going to be a busy week!
I see Caz got my card. Hope she knew who it was from before opening the car=
d because of the picture on the front ![]()
Picking up missus now.. Ciao!=
Garage told me that the part still have not arrived yet. She chased warehou=
se and was told that there are no stock until next tue or wed! So looks lik=
e i’m without my car for another week. :(=
Got this email from our solicitors… “just to let you know we have now exc=
hanged on your purchase with completion for 3rd july”
At last!=
This morning, we called our soliticor to find out what is happening with the boiler’s previous service history and was told that it was done last year. So that’s good and we’re to contiue with it when it’s next serviced. We told them to go ahead and start the exchange of contract. Hopefully we will get the move in date soon.
Garage came back to me, saying that it’s the inlet manifold module control which needs to be replaced, as confirmed in my research yesterday. The part is on order and should arrive by tomorrow. Hopefully it will fix the problem!
Need to decice which stuff to pack and which stuff to be taken over to the new house first…
Lastnight, we went out to see a friend’s birthday party - was a good night. Everyone enjoyed it.
On the way home, my car started to make some funny noise. Stopped, stopped engine and had a look under the bonnet. Nothing obvious. Started engine again, noise returned.
Not taking the risk, I texted RAC (first time using this method) and they turned up within 20 mins - not bad at 12:30am! The guy had a look and he said the noise is more toward the back side of the engine bay. He pointed out it could be the “grey box” and when he unplugged it and the noise stopped! Plugged it in, noise did not come back. But turned off and on the engine, the noise returned.
He advised me to take it to Ford for check over, so I thanked him and drove back home slowly. Oh and amost ran over a large deer on the way back home! If I were 1 second faster, I am sure the deer would have gone through my front bonnet!
After some mad searching, TIS searching and message board posting, I think it’s something to do with the IMRC actuator controller. But then I could be wrong since it’s based on my random searching and with my little knowledge of the engine.
This morning was the same as last night - more searching. And then I dropped off the car at the garage, left the key and emailed them. Hopefully they can track down the problem by tomorrow.
Anyone got £25,000 for me so I can buy a new car?
After dropping off my car, we went to Attleborough for some quick food shopping and found a nice area in the countryside for a spot of lunch. In that 45 mins of eating our lunch, there was no one walking past or any traffic at ALL. Which was nice.
Got home in time for the England football - GO ENGLAND!!
So another busy week has gone. Weekend is tomorrow.
House stuff - we have paid the deposit and now aiting for them to finish of=
f the contract. I think we wil get the key by Wed or so depending on what i=
s happening with the other solicitor. I hate the waiting bit. ![]()
So what are everyone doing over the weekend?=
Well, well, piss poor performance of the football, but we somehow got away with it and drew 2-2.
*shrugs* At least we’re onto the enxt stage.
Erk, the seller said they did not wait till july and wants all of the stuff=
to be finished by next week! So we are trying to sort out stuff.
If all goes ok, we could get the key by next week and not 2 weeks time!
Stay tuned…=
I got my first winning prize from http://www.playmonday.com - £14.
Only played twice - first one was at the launch date and another one today. Not bad!
We’re almost there… we have checked over the paperwork with the solicitors. All good. Asked few questions and they will get the questions answered soon.
Signed the contract, but will not take effect until we pay the depoist money which we will be paying them soon.
Agreed the move-in date which is… *drum roll*
3rd July!
So that’s 2 weeks from now. Missus is getting all nervous but I’m good… I’m sure I’ll get nervous when the time is closer. ;D
We are now getting the money together and send off the cheque, calling aroun to find the price for van hire, etc etc etc. The next 2 weeks will be busy with preparing.
Can’t wait!
Weekend was gooooood!
Yesterday, we was in the city, looking around for bathroom stuff. Came across Bathstore.com shop near the bus station and found their price to be a rip off so left quickly…
Popped into Sainsburys for some food and quick shopping.
Got back home, got changed and drove through the countryside to Watton for my friend’s 50th birthday party. Was good to see many people I haven’t seen for agesssss. (Lisa, Paul is doing well and as usual, he has busy lifestyle lol)
There was a short firebreathing show during the party and I took an amazing photo of the man doing it. He asked me to see the photo I took and he liked it. So he asked me to e-mail it to him. YAY.
I’ll upload soon so you can see it.
Got home about 11pm, relaxed a bit before heading to bed.
Day off today, woohoo. Going to see the solicitors to sort out the paperwork at 10am today. So need to get ready soon.
This was very good - was only let down with poor subtitling - it kept going fux0ring up all the time. Instead of text, it came up with ??????????????????? all the time.
Annoyed and has complained to Stagetext - waiting for a reply now…
But apart from it, it was a good show and we enjoyed it.
Had dinner afterward before heading to the Deaf Club for some bar work. Was a good day overall.
Heading to bed soon.
