Friday, March 31st, 2006The eclipse
Wednesday, March 29th, 2006Anyone seen it?
I did notice it was a bit dark and the gone away.
You can watch the straming media of the total eclipse from a telescope. (you may want to fast forward a bit as it’san 1 hour 30 mins streaming video) - looks good!
Managed to finish the back garden and I’m totally exhausted!! Didn’t do the front garden so will do it later on.
Had a very nice & relaxing bath and I’m feeling all refreshed!
Phew!
Wednesday, March 29th, 2006The piles of leaves and braches are now all gone. The shredder worked well (althought a bit noisy!!) and filled up 3 bags worth. Not bad for a morning job!
I just finished having my lunch and am getting ready to cut the grass if it’s dry enough.
Morning!
Wednesday, March 29th, 2006A very nice day on my day off.
Planning to spend all day doing up the gardden as it’s in the need of big clean up.
Trimming the tree, shredding the braches and tidying up the driveway in the morning with cutting the grass in the afternoon as the grass is still wet. So need it to by dry first.
So, yeah a budy day I think!
Ohh, don’t forget we will have partial eclipse in UK at around 10:45am so don’t get too scared if the weather got darker for you. ;D. Oh yeah and don’t look at the sun directly!!
Work
Tuesday, March 28th, 2006Got to work okay. There are a lot less traffic today.
Only few people at the have but plenty of police and security guys. But i am sure they will leave as there are not many people striking. Guess they are somewhere else.
Anyway work to do!
Strike
Tuesday, March 28th, 2006So it’s happening today.
Let see if I can get to work on time or stuck in traffic…
V for Vendetta
Monday, March 27th, 2006Watched V for Vendetta this evening after work and we thought it was a good film. it was a bit confusing at the start but it make sense later on in the film.
A good & interesting film. Maybe it will be like it in the future (the Big Brother thing)
This morning, I got up on time… well just! So not bad at all.
Work was busy and trying to meet deadlines. Too many projects to handle, too little time.
Going to watch a bit of TV…
Yarrrrr
Sunday, March 26th, 2006Trip the Gt Yarmouth went okay. After finding the shop shut, we had lunch at the pub before heading to Sainsburys for the weekly shopping and then came home.
Tidied up the garden a bit, trimmed off the out-of-control tree and it’s a bit better now. And then it started to rain. So will finish it off tomorrow after work.
It’s now 10:30pm whereas it’s 9:30pm if we didn’t have the 1 hour forward thingy. We have lost one hour… sob sob. Which means we need to get up on time tomorrow… it’ll be hard for me cos my body is used to get up at 7am and not 6am. Guess I’ll find out if I can get up on time or not tomorrow…
Got some stuff to flog on eBay soon… anyone interested in Ford Escort gasket kit?
Gt Yarmouth
Sunday, March 26th, 2006We are at Gt Yarmouth at the moment to do some shopping. The shop we wanted to go is shut. Oh well. Maybe we will look around for other shops.
And its warm!
It’s official.
Saturday, March 25th, 2006Working tax credit sucks.
Feeling down.
Looks like we’ll have to wait longer to find a house.
Early night.
He is coming
Friday, March 24th, 2006Good old Charles Clarke is coming here at 12pm. Might go and see him as there are free food.

Pepsi the cat
Thursday, March 23rd, 2006Well hello there…
Thursday, March 23rd, 2006Been a while (again) - has been busy lately.
Work is doing okay. My car is good. I removed the sticker from the rear window of the garage who sold me the car. Looks much better now. the hairdryer and nail remover method works well!
House hunting is still ongoing so no change.
Tonight the club is going to play ten pins bowling so should be fun.
Lunch break is over. Back to work!
d’oh…
Tuesday, March 21st, 2006I noticed the car oil is a little low so I thought I’d top it up from the small bottle of oil.
And somehow managed to get over the MAX line a bit. Oops. Couldn’t drain the oil a bit because I don’t have a car ramp as the drain plug is further away under the engine.
A quick call to Ford informs me that they can do it for me free of charge. Nice of them. So I’m going there soon and get it drained a bit. Then I’m going to head to work.
How embarrassing is that?
A lesson learnt… top up a little, check, top up a little, check… that will be next time.
