Bah, the guy who said he would pick up the car yesterday and didn’t turn up - he did the same for today. Here’s the history…
Tuesday: “Sorry, I’m busy”
Wed - “Sorry, can’t get a car trailer”
Agreed for Sat. But he didn’t turn up. Contacted him and he said he has some mates round for lunch. Gee, thank you for letting me know. So re-arrange for Sunday whch is today. No show. Texted him to find out what’s happening. No reply from him, but his mother replied and said he “lost the key to the truck”.
That was the final straw for me and decided not to reply to his text, re-offered the car to the other people who expressed their interest and got someone interested to pick it up on Tuesday. He works for Ford, so that’s perfect for him.
He’s going to borrow the truck from work and collect the car.
I’m trying to think what to say to the first guy… or not bother telling him as it’s obviously he is either lost interest or too busy.
Anyway, as we was waiting for him almost all mrning and half afternoon, we headed out to Attleborough again to get out of the house. Went to Sainsburys for weekly shopping, popped round to a friend’s house to fix her laptop, which was a simple fix and headed home.
We’re cooking roast dinner at the moment and it’s starting to smell lovely. Mmmmmm.
