After watching the weather and waiting for the snow to ease off, it did and we left here to go to Norwich for shopping.

Visited loads of shops in Chapelfield shopping centre and came out with nothing.

Moved our car to the Mall as it was a bit cheaper and got some stuff. But still nothing for me as there was not much things I could buy. Even that it has a big “OMG SALE” banners all over, the price was still expensive and could buy them online a lot cheaper. So I’ve backed out and will buy the stuff online.

The snow started & stopped all day and when we headed back home, it just started to snow now. Weather warning says tomorrow will be worse. If the weatherman lies, and the weather were fine, we’ll go back to Norwich tomorrow to look for some new clothes for me. I need some new jeans and maybe shoe.

It’s snowing here at the moment and it’s looking good. Shame it didn’t happen on Xmas day, would be even better!

According to this news article, it will keep snowing for the next 2 days so that changes our plans for this week a bit. At the moment, it’s falling a bit heavy but I’m hoping it will ease up a bit so we can go shopping in Norwich.

But for now, I’m headng back to bed and watch TV - it’s cold here!

Boxing day is over now.

Just got back from visiting my mum’s mother house for buffet and drinks. It was good and got some more pressie. Toolkit for me, some hand/body cream for the missus and £10 voucher for the local shopping mall (Chapelfield) for us.

Driving back home, there was some mixture of rain, hail and snow. But it has stopped as we got home. Some people say we will get about 6 inch of snow overnight in Norfolk - we’ll find ut if it’s true by tomorrow morning.

However BBC Weather confirmed it and there is even an warning about it! So we’ll see…

Plans for tomorrow will depends on the weather. If all good, we’ll go shopping using the money & vouchers we have.

Well, that was a great morning!

Loads of Xmas presents opened. Loada of great pressie.

Cooking big dinner at the moment. Can’t wait to eat them!

Driving along the roads, I’ve seen lots of people doing mad shopping rush for last minute shopping. Crazy.

Went to a petrol station for car wash but there was a very long queue. Guess they want their car to look clean for visiting family & friends. But then our car needs a wash too.

Thankfully we have a pressure washer at home, so we left it and got our lunch from Waitrose.

Went home, had our lunch while watching I See Dead People, I mean The Sixth Sense - good film.

Then after that, washed the car and it’s looking much better.

Morning everyone.

One day till Xmas.

Just sent out an SMS to many people on my address book, wonder who will be first to reply.

Undecided what to do for the rest of today. Maybe shopping or something, not sure. Maybe go along with what is happening. But taking it easy and enjoy the day. Yeah that would work.

Went to loads of garages to find a good car for me.

Remember the car I spoke about before? Well, I viewed it this morning and while the car looks great, it’s an ex-fleet for a company called Balfour Betty. Good service history but looking at the engine, it’s covered in rust. I mean… my P reg car has less rust on engine!!

I pointed it out to the garage bloke and he said it was normal. But not for an year 2002 car!

The rust was mostly around the cylinder head area with white stains, which I suspect is/was a recent water leak.

The car doesn’t even start… flat battery which means it has been sitting there for a while. But I guess it’s normal.

Am I being too picky? No idea… but it’s a nice car.

Maybe I should open up and look for similar car? I’ve given up with VW Golf as they’re out of my price range. What are other & similar car as VW Golf?

Anyway, after that, we went to Halfords to get a bottle of oil to top up the Fiat Punto as it was getting low in oil. Then we went to Sainsburys to get some food for Xmas including dinner on Xmas Day. Almost trolley full!

Headed back home, had lunch and watched Ocean’s Eleven on DVD. Ate too many choccy.

And it’s almost 9pm. I need lunch/dinner… I’m hungry! (yeah I’m always hungry lol)

This post is being made via my new router.

Very easy to set up! A lot easier than the old router. And loads of useful settings that I can play with. It even came with SNMP, so I can use it to make pretty graphs.

Well worth the purchase!

The new router arrived. Looking very good.

Going to note down the config from the old router and transfer it to the new router.

* Dropped off missus at work
* Cleaned up and hoovered my study room
* Replied some e-mails
* Hoovered the bedroom
* Put dirty clothes in washing machine
* Take rubbish out
* Washed up dishes

And soon, lunch.

Not long then.

Dropped off missus at work this morning and headed back home. Waiting for a parcel from DSL Warehouse for my new router. Once it’s arrive, I’ll set it up and play with it.

Hopefully it will be done before lunch (well, depending on what they it arrives) then I will have my lunch and then clean the window of the car - it’s dirty!

Picked up the missus and fighting our way through the traffic in the city, we managed to found almost empty car park and parked there.

The rear window’s heater blew the fuse so had to replace it in the dark as it was misty and couldn’t see anything. Luckly it had a spare in the fuse box. So that’s sorted.

Then went to eat something. Was nice.

But I had bad tummy where I kept farting almost all night. Yeah, not nice…

Still the dinner beats it and was worth it.

Server related news: the last domain on the old server has been moved away finally and have contacted the web hosting company to shut down the server at the end of the billing cycle (2nd Jan 2006). Really glad as I had enough with them and I’m happy to get rid of them!

Plans for tomorrow: Clean the car a bit as it’s dirty yet again. Will try to take some pics so you can see how dirty it is. ;D Then help out at Xmas party at the local club in the evening.

Did anyone see the news about the Gel battery? Looks very good and thin. I’m sure it’ll be the next big thing in the future. Imagine this - lighter laptop!
