Yawn…
Saturday, December 31st, 2005Has been yawning almost all day and my eyes are sleepy.
But we managed to leave the house, did some shopping & food and now back home to get changed for the new year party tonight.
Hope you all will have a great time tonight!
Yay
Saturday, December 31st, 2005Looks like I’ve won one of this:

All I did was to text URISUMMER plus your date of birth (i.e. 01/01/01) to 81222 (UK only) - won this on 4th try.
Will take 7 days for it to be delivered.
Morning!
Saturday, December 31st, 2005It’s the weekend now!
I was wide awake and didn’t go to bed until 2am and woke up at half eight. Feeling a bit sleepy now, but should be wide awake soon after I had my shower.
Was raining overnight but it wasn’t enough to thaw away all snow - there are still some snow on some areas.
Anyone going to the New Year party tonight? We might be attending one in Norwich.
Enjoy the party!
Is it just me…
Friday, December 30th, 2005… or are we now starting to receive newsletter from online stores, offering discounts on fitness kits like running machine, weights equipments, rowing machine, etc *just* after Xmas has ended.
Are they trying to say that we are fat after Xmas??
And now it’s Friday…
Friday, December 30th, 2005Dropped off missus this morning for work before heading to see my mum for the day. Went shopping with her for lunch. Snow was very heavy and ice on road was appearing.
Missus texted me, saying that her boss are telling everyone to go home early at 3pm, so I made my way to pick her up, and went home.
So not much happening, just a nice and relaxing day which was nice.
Currently looking around for cars. I so need one soon…
Pilot dumps drunk man on island
Thursday, December 29th, 2005This is something that you would see on films. But this actually happened. Hahaha
A drunken air passenger was cast away on an island more than 1,000 miles from home after abusing cabin staff.
The unidentified man swore at crew and passengers after being refused a bottle of wine on the four-hour flight from Manchester to Tenerife. He became so abusive the fed-up pilot diverted the Monarch Airlines Airbus to Porto Santo island off West Africa.
After the plane touched down, the man was marched off by police and had his luggage dumped on the tarmac.

Home now
Thursday, December 29th, 2005And we’re back home and we’re exhausted.
This morning, I’ve been looking at the windscreen washer pump nad from what I can see, it would involve taking out the tyre, the left wing and then finally removing the plastic underside before I cna access the pump. With the cold weather & snow, it was impossible to do it on the small driveway, we decided to go to the Fiat garage and ask for a quote for the repair job. And it was not bad, but the parts was not in stock. But they said they will order one and would arrive in the afternoon. Not bad! So booked the job and left the garage to go to Morrisions for lunch and hot chocolate. Mmmm, yummy.
In the afternoon, we went for a drive around came got to Mousehold (next to Norwich prison) to watch loads of kids sleding (see photos in my earlier post) - it was amazing and I have never seen the car park so full. But it was on a road that has not been gritted, there was lots of cars trying to get out and crashing into each other. Not very safe with the kids around!! So we decided it was a good idea to leave that area!
Soom, we got to Homebase’s car park and we waited there to have a chat and looking at some print outs of some houses. Out of nowhere, a car with three young kids in the car roared into the car park, doing handbrake turns on the snow filled car park, narrowly hitting the kerbs and our car. Idiots. And they did it again. Then they left. Later, a different car did the same and once again, almost hitting the back of our car. Wankers.
It was time to go back to the garage and dropped off the car there and gave them the car key. Went to Homebase as it was only next door and got some stuff we neede dincluding a floodlight for the back garden. It’s totally dark in the evening so a floodlight with sensor was a good idea. So we got it for just £8.79. Not bad. And had hot chocolate while we was in there too.
One hour later, we came back to the garage to pick it up. The man said it was all done but asked us to wait a bit longer as they was going to wash the car for free. How nice of them, so we waited while watching The Jungle Book on TV.
The car turned up and it was sparkling clean. Paid for the job, thanked them and left.
Then we went on the way to Acle to view a house (well, not arranged, we just turned up to have a look at the house from outside lol) and it was very nice. So we’re thinking about arranging a date to have a look inside the house. The only downside with it is a very small garden.
It was time to head back home and we was faced with heavy fog. Fog + frost = bad! So cold and freezing cold, it managed to jam up the hidges on the wipers! I had to stop three times to free up the hidges by bending and loosing them. Now that’s what I call a COLD WEATHER! Brrr.
We arrived home okay and to a nice & warm house. Ahhhh!
Tomorrow - missus go back to work. Haha because I still have my holidays until next Thursday. ;-D She’s not happy… hehe. Going to drop her off and then head to see my mum to talk about getting her connected up to broadband.
Time to cook our dinner.
Wonderful snow on trees

Thursday, December 29th, 2005More snow
Wednesday, December 28th, 2005Great, another plans for tomorrow are now on hold as the snow has arrived. It was supposed to thaw out as of tomorrow but looks like it will not happen.
It’s chucking down with snow and it’s already filled up the path that was cleared out not long ago today.
Shall have to wait and see how bad it is tomorrow.
Another okay day…
Wednesday, December 28th, 2005Morning
Went to see two houses as it looked good.
Arrived there, saw both of them and it sucked. Loads of work needs to be done and not worth the asking price. So left it.
Afternoon
Went to Wroxham for some shopping and lunch.
Fuse blew up again on the same car for the rear heater, replaced and works okay. But the washer pump is dead as far as I can see as it doesn’t squirt the water at all. So driving on roads did not help as the water from the vehicle in front sprays all over the windscreen so I had to stop many times to wash it off until we got home.
Looked under bonnet. Tubing looks fine. Missus says she don’t hear the pump running when I activate the washer, so it could be a dead pump as the fuse for it is linked with the wipers and it works fine.
So looks like we’ll be going to the garage tomorrow and see how much the pump will cost. Hopefully not too expensive.
Evening
Went food shopping & had lunch.
Relaxing night while warming up.
Foggy tonight with ice/frost overnight. So tomorrow will be cold and ice everywhere. Drive carefully, we saw one car overturned in the countryside road. Looks like Audi A3 or similar with 53 reg plate. Fast car so I guess the driver has been speeding. Waste of a nice car.
