Can’t believe tomorrow will be 1st Nov. Then it will be one month till Christmas!

I remember the summer - it’s now months ago already.

The trip to Dereham for servers upgrade went okay but a very long day. Didn’t get back to work till 5:30pm due to bad traffic and some problems with getting the server to start up due to bad HDD. Once we got it up & running, we managed to get it “dcpromo”ed to another server before taking it offline.

Felling very sleepy now. And tomorrow I’m getting up very early to catch the bus to work as my car is still fscked and the missus needs the other car for work. So… I hope the weather will be nice to me tomorrow.

Which means I need to head to bed a bit early to get enough sleep.

Gah, already hating the 1 hour difference… made the day shorter as the darkness falls earlier!

Lazied around this morning doing random stuff.

In the afternoon, went out for lunch and finishing off some paperwork and preparing for the interview. Feeling a bit nervous, but looking forward to it.

Been researching on some information about the mini itx box, which I was given by a mate. Need a PSU as it’s blown up but I’m having not much luck as it’s a bit costly. Maybe I will find some cheaply on eBay.

*rubs eyes*

Busy day. Rush.

Left friend house to see mum. Then quick shop.

Came home, relaxed, watched DVD, have lunch, 1 hour nap took almost 3 hours, now going out for Hallooween fancy dress (i’m not going to dress up) and I know I will be worn out by the time I get back home from tonight.

My body clock is still the same - got up at half seven. Time to start the day!

Walked back to friends house in rain. But tonight was good and we all enjoyed the night.

Whoops didnt post any yesterday. was too busy.

Yesterday was ok. Work then food then to the club and then finally to pub for a drink with mates.

Today at work it is very noisy due to building work. Argh!

Another outreach centre done, three more to go…

Today was pretty good and did lots of stuff done. Now preparing the servers for the next Outreach upgrade.

Got my “What Car?” magazine, so going to read in bed. I think I will have enough money by next month to buy a nice car… but am not sure what car.

I mean, I have used the following cars:

Citroen AX 1.1 -> Peugeot 106 1.1 -> Ford Escort 1.6 16V

So obviously I want something nice. Not downsizing, you know what I mean? I’m happy to get another 1.6 car or 2.0 or whatever. But am not sure what sort of car. I saw a nice blue Peugeot 307 HDI (50 reg plate), alloy wheel, air con, the full lot. But it was around £7,300 and I couldn’t find out how much mileage it’ve done. And I’m not too sure about the price anyway. Still, I hope the magazine will help me to decide what car to get.

Throw me some ideas for the next car, please.

My eyes wants to sleep. And it’s winning the battle. So I guess I’m goung to make this entry short.

Work was ok. Outreach upgrades are going well so far. Finished installing the new PCs in the Learning Shop and also finished rebuilding the PCs in the Learning Station. Tomorrow, we’re going there for final check over for software and also putting the NAS server back in place. Then the Learning Station will be open to students on Thursday. And we’re having the Freelander again tomorrow. I like that car - shame it sucks up so much fuel! Still, work’s paying for the fuel anyways… hehe.

Boys Night Outing this Friday. Should be fun. Eat then pub crawl then possible nightclub. Either way, it should be a good night.

Anyway, nite…

Work was crazy today. 2 dead server HDDs and a dead server (well almost but enough to take out the DC’s database) so I won’t bore you with that.

Outreach upgrade was good. Much more quicker than last week as we knew what to do - we learnt quickly. PC building starts tomorrow so that should be a good & easy day tomorrow.

Got my work’s payslip today, so more money coming to my bank and some of it will go toward the savings for a new car. Still undecided what to get.

With thanks to Greg, may I recommend Angry IP Scanner - it was used to find my wireless access point as I forgot the IP address for it! A quick scan and it found an IP address for it.

Ok, time to faff around with my website.

I finally found the cheap head gasket! Got it from Halfords in Gt Yarmouth! Long drive but worth it!

TV sucks tonight.

I’ve been thinking all night, trying to figure out how to make money from online. But I can’t think of any.

My study room is once again a mess. So I don’t think I’ll bother cleaning up for a bit as it will get messy again. Why can’t it stay clean?

Been researching for cheap head gaskey set and found one on eBay for £28.50. Not too bad, but still looking around for cheaper one anyway. But if I’m having no luck, looks like I’ll have to get that. Still cheap, tho.

Tomorrow, not sure what to do. Perhaps gym and some shopping in Norwich.

Well, g’nite, going to lay in bed and read some magazine or something.
