And tomorrow will be June. Already!

Hello everyone. Today was okay. Had a half day at work as I had to go home to check some paperwork as the car’s MOT was up for a renewal (which turned out it was fine till 31st july!) so I used the time to call around for aerial installer and went to the city to buy some stuff for my RC truck.

Then picked up the missus, had our dinner and went home. I set up my RC truck for some demo run around to see if the truck is fine before selling it. And it worked fine but it needs some tweak to get the steering corrected before I can sell it. I’m selling it because I rarely use it now so I don’t want to see it being wasted and wanted to get some of the money back.

Wireless kit should arrive tomorrow, can’t wait to play with it!

Anyway I’m headong off to bed a bit early, see you all next month! (that’s tomorrow heh)

Now that we’re living at someone else’s house, we do not want too many cables all over the house. Therefore I used the excuse to buy wireless kit so we can use our laptop downstairs without having to use network cable running from upstairs to downstairs.

However, because I have little budget, I used a cheapo Linksys Etherfast Wireless Access Point (£21.91 inc VAT) and Linksys Instant Wireless USB Adapter (£14.49 inc VAT). Yes, it is 11Mbps which is a bit slow, we only use it for general surfing and not for big file copying. So it works.

Should get it by this Wed.

Sitting in my car at sainsburys car park, with the rain pouring down and having my lunch. Just been to the city to drop off the missus and her mum. Then i went to halford to buy some bike stuff. I want to ride my bike again now that we are near the countryside. Not sure what to do once i finish eating my lunch. Was planning to walk around the city but it is raining. Oh well.

Oh, I forgot to mention… when we was driving through the city, it was packed, unusual for a Sunday and I found out it’s because Elton John is in Norwich for his performs (link) at the Norwich City Football ground. As we drive past the football ground, we could hear the music, even that it’s not open yet. Seems they are testing the sounds. And boy, it was loud. Long queue around the stand, eager to go in. And plently of police.

Didn’t see Elton John, tho.

We went to Norwich to check out, according to newspaper “Hot rods, BBQ, classic cars” but when we got there, the car park was full of Hell Angel bikes, very little classic cars/hot rods so we left. lol. We went to St Andrews park for the fayre and saw some dog show but that was all, pretty much. It’s mostly for kids, so we left too.

Had a quick tour around my old school and it has changed a lot. After that, we went to Sainsburys for some food for tonight and got home. Going to relax & play game.

I got my head choped this morning and I felt lightheaded. lol

Hello peeps. Relaxing day today I think. Maybe weekly food shopping and some stuff.

But first, time to play a game!

This morning has been busy. I’ve been phoning and writting to lots of companies, chasing them for updated bill from the old house and sorting out the bills to be faxed to the letting agency to get the depoist back.

So far, I have 7 letters to be posted, minus stamps, so I will need to visit the post office and one letter to be posted to the bank to cash in the cheque.

Then do shoppings in the afternoon!

And we still have the nice weather today, and less humid as yesterday!

Man, today has been a hot day.

Work was great, been busy going around the campus doing some work.

After work, we played 5-a-side football and it was so hot, we was sweating! However my side won and I scored loads of goal. I’m happy.

Need to have a bath and then we’re off to the monthly pub meetup.

Well, the training was interesting. We’ve learnt a lot of new things. Now we’re going to get it rolling soon.

The room was so hot, we was starting to fall asleep a bit! The warm weather tonight are still there and I suspect we’ll have problems with sleeping tonight!

Friday’s tomorrow. Work, then 5 a side football then home, for wash then the monthly pub meetup in the evening. Yet another busy day.

Still at the training. And it is interesting so far. Almost done.

Work is done and have gone to sainsburys for some food and now i am at the car park, eating and waiting for others to turn up at half five. the training is at six and will last till half nine. A long day indeed… Oh and damn nice weather today!

Morning

Work as usual. Nothing exciting to report

Lunchtime

Went to the pub with Greg and my sister for a drink & lunch. Then back to work and worked as usual.

After work

Topped up my car with more petrol and then picked up missus after work, went to Staples to swap out the wrong product we got for our brand new filing cabinet.

Evening

Spent all night sorting out my paperwork, bills, bank statements, etc and shred away all old paperwork - poor shredder, all of the work all night and it overheat once so left it to col down while watching CSI. Then carried on after that TV. All done and I had a late bath & shave. Feeling all fresh now.

Tomorrow, work. Then at 5:30pm, I’m going to meet the gang and go on a training course that starts at 6pm till 9:30pm. We had to get that training before we can receive the funding grant for the Youth Club which I am involved with. Hopefully it will be fun.

And now I’m going to get some shut-eyes… nite peeps.

How stupid are they??

Two Star Wars fans are in a critical condition in hospital after apparently trying to make light sabres by filling fluorescent light tubes with petrol.

A man, aged 20, and a girl of 17 are believed to have been filming a mock duel when they poured fuel into two glass tubes and lit it.

Walking to work for 5 mins for the past 2 and a half years was good.

Now, we’re faced with 30 mins drive to work and I’m not used to it. I mean, we have to get up even more earlier (1 hour earlier) to get ready to leave here. (about half seven), then we get stuck in the traffic jam on A11.

Hopefully we won’t have to do this too long. Need to save up fast so e can get a house near Norwich, not miles away.

Going to unpack some of my stuff from the box and then watch CSI tonight.
