I’ve uploaded some photos of my new Orange SPV C500 mobile phone.

In other news, HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all for the next 3 and an half hours!! 2005 is coming!

I’m annoyed. I got up early so I could sign for a packet from the postman only to find the postman came and went 1 hour earlier! He usually come round at about 9am but he done it at 8:10am! And I missed him by 10 mins. Now I have the “We’re holding an item of mail for you” card and it mentioned that I can pick it up on 3rd Jan because of New Year!

ARGH. I need it. :/

Oh well… good morning peeps!

I am the proud owner of the C500 phone. It’s awesome.
All I need to do is to wait for the SIM update to come in then my phone is ready to be used.

Bloody hell, that was an interesting calls I made since last night!

Last night: Called Orange to find out what is happening with my phone & asked for tracking number. They tell me it was posted on 29th Dec for next day delivery but no tracking number available. Told me to call back today.

This morning: Called Orange, explained what I said last night. Confirmed that it was posted on 29th but still no tracking number. Got told to call back later after 10am

10:30am: Called Orange yet again. Was told that it has not been dispatched yet as they was busy. Was told that I should get the phone next week!

I hung up. I had a think and decided that they are talking bollocks. So I called Orange again. And I was told that it was posted on the 27th! They gave me the tracking number for Parceline. Thanked them, I tried to track it on Parcelione website. Error - Number invalid!

Called Parceline. They said the number is invalid and advised me to call Orange again.

Gah…

Called Orange, explained the problem. “You should have never got that number as we do not give them away” Well, Orange did, so I ask for the status of the order. “It should be with you today”.

Finally. I’m going to walk to work this afternoon and see if it has arrived yet.

Even that I don’t have the new phone with me, I went ahead and ordered the Krusell Premium Leather Case for the C500 phone so my new phone will be covered as soon as it arrived to protect from any damage/scratches.

This morning I called Orange to find out what is happening with my new phone and they tell me they have posted it.

So I should get it this week. I cant wait! Only about three pounds of credits left on this phone.

Need to find some software to be installed on the new phone i.e. File manager, and that sort of thing.

For some reason I thought today was Wednesday, but it was not. I’m getting the days mixed up!

This morning/afternoon, I did some checking on our cars (oil, water, etc etc) and went to Haliford to buy some stuff. Wanted to visit two different garages (one for car parts and another one for new tyres for my car) but both of them are shut. So I need to visit them again tomorrow.

Watched Apollo 13 on TV.

Currently looking around for some accessories for my new SPV C500 phone which I’m hoping to get soon.

Morning

Lazied around and then went out to the city to check out the “big sale” - didn’t get anything for myself but the missus did.

Afternoon

Popped in Magic City to play some game of pool and then ate some dinner. Got home & watched TV in a warm house as it was freezing cold outside with lots of ice forming on paths & road.

Evening

TV all nite. Some good films.

That’s it.

Morning

Got up late. Got ready and went to the city for a walk around and went into a few shops that are open. Most of the shops are shut! And the street was almost empty.

Afternoon

Had lunch and then headed to PC World to laugh at their “Sale” price when they are still rip off! Drove around for a bit before headed home to relax till 5:30pm, where we’re off to see my parents.

Evening

Parents for buffet was good and the food was yummy. Chatted, watched TV and then headed home.

Lots of ice on the road and I haven’t seen any salt gritter lorries going around… in fact I haven’t seen one for a while! I hope the council are not cutting back…

I see white all over outside, but it’s not snow, it’s ice/frost! So no snow for us here. Lucky people up north who had a nice Christmas Day Snow.

Woke up this morning at 9:30am, which means I had a very nice sleep after a big dinner & drinking & plently of TV last night.
Now going to clean up before heading out to the city for the Boxing Day sale and spend our vouchers!

Had a very nice Christmas Day!

Got plently of good presents & new clothes. And vouchers and money! Including some choccy!

I cooked our Xmas dinner for us & it came out very good and I’m proud of it.
Plans for the rest of the day:

* Eat choccy
* Watch TV/films
* Drinks
* Cream Crackers & Cheeeeeese

With the heating turned on full to keep us warm!

Well, I’ve done it. I’ve ordered a new mobile phone - the Orange SPV C500 in Pay Monthly!

Can’t wait to get it.

Howdy doodly dooo peeps!

We’ve been busy changing around this office so we will have someone moving in here so he cna work closely with the two other guys here for network improvement work. So it looks like it’s going ahead for me to over to the Systems dept in Jan or so. Still waiting for training confirmation.

Worked as usual until 12pm, where I dropped my stuff & went for Xmas dinner.
Afternoon

Free drinks in the student bar. Then went to eat. Stayed there until about 3:30pm or so. Headed back to office and had a chat.

Evening

Went to the local pub for drinks and game of pool. Got home a bit early.

Overall good day!
