Oh and I finally ordered the Dedicated Server, so we can’t wait to have it up & running soon.

All 3 ISOs burned & ready to be used. *rubs hands* Now, need to find the time to install it, perhaps tomorrow after work.

Decided to jump from Mandrake 9.1 to Mandrake 10.0.

So, here I am, at UEA, using their fat ass internet pipe to download the iso file at 3MB per sec. Mwhahahaha.

And some blank CDs to burn them on the CDs.

Wow, The Matrix Revolutions has also been posted by Play.com, even that it’s not due to be released till April 2nd. w00t! Something to look forward this weekend!

Yay, The Matrix Reloaded has been posted! So I should get it on Thurs or so.

10 new laptops arrived for me to clone & setup. I’m sure I have done hundrends of laptops ever since I started working here!

In other news, I forgot to mention that one car has been broken into in the staff car park yesterday.

This morning, I walked past the car… and it was gutted. Someone set fire to it overnight! When I think back, the car has been there since last week and it doesn’t have any staff car park badge, so I think someone dumped it in the staff car park. Cheeky…

Geez, I need to start using my alarm clock again. You see, my body is used to getting up itself at 7am to 7:30am. But because of the 1 hour change, my body is working correctly as it is… and wakes me up at 8:30am. That’s when I was supposed to be at work. Grr.

My eyes are square. Yes, I have been watching TV all night.

Just ordered The Matrix Reloaded (2 Discs) from Play.com.

Still waiting for Matrix 3 to be available on April 2nd!

EDIT: Sod it, I’ve pre-ordered it.

Today was not too bad.

Delivery came for computers, but thankfully I was in the class while the other guys dealt with it. Heh.

Fixed a laser printer and did some other jobs… so a good day then.

How was your day?

Decided to visit somewhere in the countryside, but due to bad road signs, we got lost and gave up & went home.

Had lunch, watched The Matrix on DVD, went to Sainsburys for shopping and now I’m fixing my linux server.

I reinstalled XFree86 including the server bit and it seems to be working now. I’m going to backup the file and plan to do a clean reinstall of Mandrake 9.1 to get rid of the crap on it.

Still can’t get X window to startup. I’ve posted a few messages on the linux help forums & LJ, so shall wait for their replies.

In the meanwhile, we’re off out and see if there’s anything interesting to visit. Or maybe not… it’s cold outside. I’m wuss.

*yawns & rubs eyes*

It’s 9am… but it’s not, it’s 10am. We lost 1 HOUR! NOOOOO

And for some stupid reason, my web server rebooted! I LOST the 137 days of uptime! Argh… :/ That’s like about 4 and a half months worth. Oh well. It looks like it’s the file system or something… I can’t even get xwindow to start up. But it’s running the services okay, so my web server is up. Hmm…

*growls*
