Yesterday, we went to How Hill in North Norfolk because the weather was nice and warm. I took my camera so I could take some interesting photos. I am currently uploading the photos now, so I’ll post a link when it’s up.
After How Hill, we got home, hired 2 DVDs - The One and Murder By Numbers. Both of these films was good. I still like The One.
Today, went food shopping for our weekly shopping. And hired another DVD too - xXx - I hope it’s a good film. Going to watch it tonight.
But for now, I’m hoping to do some housework around the house.
Breaking news.
Latest:- Iraq to be renamed Texaco.
Hmm, about 5 hours to go for the war to start. I’m hoping Saddam will give up himself… but that’s unlikely according to the news.
Well, whatever happens, good luck to our British Army!
Sorry for the lack of posting, will post some later on… but first of all, good news!
British Government announce official recognition of British Sign Language
Earlier today in Whitehall Andrew Smith, the Secretary of State for the Department of Work and Pensions and Maria Eagle, Minister for Disabled People gave a position statement on British Sign Language.
In the statement the Government recognises British Sign Language (BSL) as a language in its own right and will give careful consideration to any proposals which the Council of Europe’s Charter for Regional or Minority Languages might make. The British Deaf Association (BDA) welcomes today’s announcement and confirms that they will continue to lobby for legislation supporting British Sign Language following this first crucial step.
This is great news! Hopefully we will se lots of changes.
I’ve just finished donating some money to Red Nose Day
Have you done your part yet?
Morning everyone. Woke up early to clean up the house a bit more before the boiler man comes.
Now, he’s here, doing his job and I think he’ll turn off the electricity, so I’m shutting down my PC just in case. ![]()
