Today

Tuesday, August 27th, 2002

Slept in a bit late.

Went out to Wroxham Barns as I have not been there for a while. It still looks the same since the last time I went there!

I got something for my mum, which I’m sure she will like it.

After it, went to the petrol station to top up my car for work tomorrow. Ugh.

Oh yeah and I finished my assignment this morning. Yay! Now going to print it off and hand it in tomorrow.

Now I’m cooking my dinner…

Stuff I did yesterday

Tuesday, August 27th, 2002

Yestersay was okay. Rained most of the day, so went to the city for some shopping and also some food.

Also got some football tickets for Norwich City vs Watford this Sat.

Hope the weather stays nice!

Oh and a silly question… I thought Ipswich Town is in Premiership and not in Division One? Did I miss something?

Tried to finish off my assignment last night but gave up halfway. Going to try to finish it today. Bah.

Yesterday

Monday, August 26th, 2002

After going for breakfast at Little Chef, we went to the park to fly the kite. It was good, but the wind was not strong enough to make it go fast. But still, it flew! ;)
After that, we went back to the house to get ready to meet the gang for ten pin bowling at 2pm.

We all met up, paid for two games, but the lady gave us third game for free.

So, we played & bowled… bowled and finished the whole game nearly 6pm!

Craig gave me the HP Journada 420, which gave it to him to pass it to me. I got it for just £20 and it’s good. I’m enjoying it.

We went home to cook our dinner. After dinner, I got surprised with a birthday cake! Mmm, chocolate cake, which was nice. And I was very full. :)

Last Night

Sunday, August 25th, 2002

We went to Dunston Hall for dinner and it was good.

I had:

Turkey
Pork
Sausages
New Potatoes (lots!)
Yorkshire Pudding
Bread Roll with butter.

and she had a veggie thing… whatever it’s called. But it looks pretty. :)
I was so full up at the end.

BUT!

we also had dessert too! We had Chocolate Gateaux with ice cream, two flakes and chocolate sauce! Yummy!

After dinner, we went to the bar to get some drinks and went outside to overview the golf course, with the orange full moon in view. It was good.

Got home and drank the whole bottle of Smirnoff Ice. (the big bottle)

Overall, I had a really good day last night.

Today, we’re off to Little Chef for some breakfast and maybe try to fly my kite. ;)

More presents!

Saturday, August 24th, 2002

This afternoon, I drove over to a friend’s house.

Upon entering the driveway, I saw something bright & colourful. Oooo… balloons! Ten of them including one on the door.

Nice of them. :)
Now the presents I got…

* ‘Make your Own Volcano’ - where I make my own from a molded mountain and put the stuff on the top. Add vinegar and it flows. Tacky, but cool too!

* Smirnoff Ice (big bottle!)

* Car cup holder

* Chocolate Monkey

* Chocolate Orange

* Kite (not the boring kite, the ones where it flys fast!)

We tried to play the kite today at the park, but there was NO wind at ALL! :( So we drove to Dunston Hall to book a table for dinner.

Then we walked to the golf range for ball hitting and it was fun. 60 balls for just £2.

Now getting ready for dinner tonight.

Stupid popup advert!

Saturday, August 24th, 2002

I was checking out a website and I got an popup-under advert box.

As I was going to close the annoying advert, I saw something stupid.

It says…

Special Offer! Download HistoryKill now for a FREE 30 day trial and receive PopUp Killer absolutely FREE!

Stop these annoying PopUp ads from popping up while you surf the web for FREE!

Popup Killer? But why are they doing the popup advert anyways??

Photos of the new Car wheel cover

Saturday, August 24th, 2002

Here’s the photos of the new car wheel cover. Below is the old one… (Click for bigger pic)

The old cover. Yuk.

I removed the cover, gave the wheel a good washing and risen them out. Took out the new cover from the box, adjusted them to its size and put them on the wheels.

Here’s what it looks like now.

Sparkling, new wheel cover!

It looks a lot better now. I’m happy. :)

Oh and…

Friday, August 23rd, 2002

I forgot to mention something…

On July 22nd, I posted my faulty CD writer to Liteon office in Germany. Costs me £10.45 to send it.

I waited for a while and did not hear anything. So I emailed Liteon for updates. They said they haven’t got anything from me. Odd… We e-mailed each other to keep up with the updates until 19th Aug, where I got annoyed about the delay.

So I contacted Royal Mail & gave them the tracking number. They said it arrived Germany on 24th July but is being held in the post office. They did not say why as they don’t know. They advised me to fill in the claim form and they will find out what’s happening.

I got the claim form, but I got the CD writer back here. Stamped on the parcel - “Invalid address. Unclaimed”

Grr, it seems that Liteon gave me the WRONG address! A waste of £10.45. I have e-mailed them & asked for the correct address AND a refund of the postage costs.

*sighs* More delay for the cd writer to be fixed..

Today

Friday, August 23rd, 2002

Got all of the buns from Sainsburys for my birthday’s giveaway. People were looking at me strangely as I waited in the queue with these cakes. I hate it.

It seems that everyone in IT Services enjoyed the cakes I got for them. I’m happy. :)
It’’s warm yet again tonight.

I’m just cleaning up my room at the moment. Not fun, but someone have to do it and it’s me. Bah.

Tomorrow - my birthday. I’m thinking about inviting my friends to bowling on Sunday. Need to e-mail them & find out…

Back to cleaning up my room…

Today

Thursday, August 22nd, 2002

Work was okay. A bit the same as on Tuesday - slow day.

After work, I washed my car as it was getting dirty. Using a jetwater machine, I cleaned the insides of the wheel arch and it got a lot cleaner now. It was filling up with mud. Ugh. And I managed to get rid of the dead flies on the front bumper with the jetwater.

Tomorrow, I’m going to Sainsburys to buy some cream cakes/buns (about 25, need to count who’s there and who’s not there) so I could give it out to my workmates in I.T. Services to celebrate my birthday. Why, you ask. Well, everytime there’s someone’s birthday on that day or the day before, they always have cream cake, buns, etc to give out to us. So I thought it would be nice to do that as my birthday is on 24th Aug. :)
Now, reading the friends page & replying…
