Silver surfers are the most rapidly growing group of net users in the UK.
The number of people aged 55 and over using the internet in the UK has grown by nearly 90% from last year, according to a survey from net measurement firm NetValue.

Two million older people are logging on to the net, accounting for 13% of the total UK online population.

The UK has one of the highest percentages of silver surfers in Europe. Only tech-savvy Sweden and Denmark have more with 17.4% and 16.3% respectively.

The Old Days!

did loads of stuff today

* cleaned up half of my room, gonna to do the other half tomorrow
* finished off my website and am going to announce it to public soon. (with a great help from !)
* set up a chat room on my website - http://www.hypertony.co.uk/chat.htm - a bit empty but hope to get more peeps in later on.
* cleaned up and delete crap files on my hdd in preparation for backup & reinstall later on this week
* downloading drivers for my hardware, etc

I feel happy cos I’ve done loads today.

finally… we UK’ers will have our time to go forward one hour, so remember to set your clocks!

heh… my computer clock went from 1:30am to 2:31am in 1 min.
