my car… as I said earlier, I got it back.

The problem was the busted hose pipe and also busted temp. switch & blubs

am glad that I got my car back

I finally took some pics of my new desk at work.

Finally, got my car back. It was a broken switch and blubs so all’s sorted.
Now I’m going to do my course at 6pm for 3 hours… ugh.

since LJ ws down (power failure, blamed by the web hosting), I couldn’t post anything.

anyway, I’m at work now, way too early because I got a lift. (nice bloke) I usually get here at about 8:30am or so, but I’m here at 7:30am. *yawns*

for my car, it’s still in the garage. my friend and I went there yesterday to pick it up, but when we got there, the guy was explaining about the problem and why I was not aware about the overheat of the engine. he said that the fan was not working, the overheat warning lights was not working too. same with oil warning. he think it’s either the light blubs or the switches, which activates the alarm. he said I could take the car now but I would have to ring it back to them today. since I can’t afford to take more time off from work, I decided to leave my car at the garage so they can fix it early in the morning (today)

so, hopefully I can pick it up today… as I need the car for the weekend.

and I need to finish my assignment, which I’ve been putting it off for a while. I think it’s due in today or next week, but just to be on the safe side, I’m going to finish it today in case he want it today.

i want a new car, where it won’t break down for a long time.

finally

took my car to the garage, had a chat with him and he said thta it could cost £50 for a new hose pipe and also clean refill of anti-freeze liquid, including labour, which I think is a good price.

But he doesn’t have any hose pipe, so he’s going to order it. Which means leaving my car there and I’m going to pick it up tomorrow at 5pm.

Bah, no car!

had a haircut.

sorry, no before and after pics cos my sister has our digital camera.

went to the computer fair and met my friends. it’s a lot better than last time, but I didn’t get anything. got a stack of cd-r and my sister got a new scanner, which can scans a slide and negative.

then we went to the city to get some food. I parked in the new library’s underground car park, got out of my car and as we was walking to the lift, I saw a smoke coming out of my car’s bonnet.

I had a closer look and there was water leaking from underneath. Argh! so I left it to cool down.

after nearly 3 hours of finding a place to get food and had a drink at The bell, we went back to the car park, I refilled the radiator and drove home, hoping it will not dry up.

I got home, and checked for any water leak, but there’s none… wonder if it had already dried up or not? I’m going to leave it to cool down before I open it up and see if there’s any water left.

I wonder if I can still use my car for work tomorrow… hmm. And if it’s still bad, looks like I will be making my first trip to the garage to get it fixed since I firstly got my car. £££££££££ !!!

It’s on today. Going there at 10am. Maybe buy stuff… but more likely, nothing. JUts browsing around.

And my friends will be there so should be good.

heh, my computer clock went backward one hour itself.
a niffy program called T-Clock, which is connected to the time server… nice.
