Wow, I haven’t posted very much for the past 2/3 days! I’ve been busy, now that I have very limited access to my computer. Which is a good thing, I guess.
I still haven’t fixed my PC… felt too lazy today. So I may try to do it tomorrow.

My POP3 mailbox (accessing via Yahoo mail) is growing big (last check, 177 e-mails). I need to download it soonest before it grows too big. I’m on two or three mailing lists, so that’s a bad news.
Anyway, time to go back to finish off the stuff I have here.

Did my mock driving test and overall, I did *very* well, but I hit the kerb when I was doing the parallel parking, which marked me failed. Ahhhh, nevermind… I still have two more lessons before the real test.

Hope I will do better!

Still no luck with the video drivers. Good thing my PC is an dual boot, so I can use Windows 98.
I’m gonna to do a full checking on my machine tomorrow.

Till then, I update LJ and check/reply e-mails from work. Bah

Game 3 = ARGH! Finally passed it on the 10th times or so.

Just a quick update of what’s happening today

* I hate unsupported drivers. My machine is now rebooting as soon as it gets to the logon screen. So, like , I’m out of action (I’m posting this from work)

I’m hoping to get it to work when I gets home tonight, if not tomorrow or Sat.

* Been busy at work, upgrading memory and changing monitors/stuff. And the weather has been so hot, I’ve been sweating. I just had a bath today and now I’m all dirty. Argh!.

What sort of files should I download, seeing that I’m on a fast connection with easy access to CD writer. (i.e. patches, demo?)

Took my case apart, cleaned it (yuk, loads of dusts! *coughs coughs*)

Pulled out three old cards.
Got the new graphic card in.

Booted up, installed drivers and taadaa, it worked for the first time! But I had some problems with getting my modem to work as I moved it to another slot. I tried to re-re-re-reinstall the drivers from the CD without any success.

Then I remembered that the CD doesn’t have Win2k support. Doh. So I found the drivers for win2k, installed it and it worked… grr.

Overall, I’m happy with the new graphic card. But the problem I’m having with my monitor is still there… I think I will get either an exchange ot refund.

I’m gonna to install my new graphic card now.

Back soon… if it works.

Good news

My GeForce 2 Pro has arrived, along with two printer ink carts. The Geforce card looks good and I can’t wait to put it in my system and get rid of my three cards!

Bad News

My phone bill arrived. Yuk!!!!!!!!!!!
