Decided not tohave any dinner… don’t ask why.

Part two of the new machine upgrades at work… Got an e-mail (and even a phone call confirmation!) saying that I can pop round anyime to replace her old P133 with 16mb ram with a new P633 128mb ram machine. We got there, said that we’re ready to replace her machine.

Guess what happened? She was not happy that we were there. She packed up in hurry, rushed off. It’s as if she’s rude… anyway, we swapped her pc with a new one, but she kept coming back & leaving the room, as if she’s “very busy” or trying to annoy us. I switched on the machine, logged on as I need to set the I.P. address an stuff like that. As it was logging on, we moved her old machine to another room for the temp staff who need access to a machine. I was only gone for a minute or so and when I came back, she logged off my logon, rebooted and tried to logon as herself to the machine! I said “we haven’t finished setting it up!”

Guess what her reply? She said, “I know” WTF? If she knows, WHY oh WHY did she log off my logon? And then she said, “shall I logon as myself so you could set it up?” we said no because her logon doesn’t have full permission to set up the I.P. address, etc and we need to logon. Then she got fed up and walked away, out of the room fast. Geez.

We set it up, configured the network and then rebooted. Checked that it worked and let her know that it’s all done. She rushed back to the room and carried on working. All of that without any “thank you” from her. ARGHGHGHGHGHG.

Remember the other machine for the temp staff? Well, it doesn’t have any monitor and network connection, so I left it as it is, told them that we’d do it later.. heh. I think we’ll do it tomorrow or next week.

After work, I stayed with a friend because she has a class at 6pm (evening class), so we went to the cateen for food & drink and chatted for a while. Then I went off to catch my bus at 6:20, only to find that the bus didn’t come till 7:05pm. Finally got home at 7:30pm. Arghh, I hate the lame bus service!

Now, am gonna to eat my dinner as I’m hungry.

Hope you all are doing well. Been busy at work, doing all of the new machines delivery and it’s going a bit slowly because some of them kept saying, “sorry, I’m busy using this machine” HELLO? I have the new machine right here, but they want to keep using the old & slow machine, that they has been complaining for the past 2 months?? I don’t understand them. Some of them has the cheek of saying “you can do that after work” Excuse me? After work is where I go home. Not staying in late to do it. Sod ‘em.

After work, my friend and I went to bowling at Hollywood Bowl. As usual, I won.
Then we went to Fatso for dinner. A little bit expensive but very nice dinner. I was all full up!

After this, my friend dropped me off home and I’m still feeling full.. ahhhhhh. I need a drink cos I’m thirsty.

I got a letter from DHL (finally!) for the delivery & tax charges for the game, Midtown Madness 2 from Microsoft. DHL agreed that they will drop the charges being pending to my account and they will chase up with Microsoft to pay for the charges. Woohoo!

Need to reply e-mails… cya!

Gone to bed…. Nite!

I’ve been falling asleep a lot lately… I wonder why. Maybe it’s the work, which keeps me busy all the time (walking all over college, up & down the stairs, carrying the hardware, etc)
