Ordered the hardware stuff, so I should get it in a few days. It was kinda hard for me to click the Order button as I had to double check the orders three times, just to make sure I got the right stuff!

Well, well, guess what? I logged in to my account center to check how much I have earned. I see this;

“Account balance zero due to cancellation or hold. -74.53″

ARGHHH. I can’t believe they did that. It says that they will contact me about it, but I haven’t heard anything from them. I think I will contact them… grr…

Just found a cheaper memory price from Insight. £118 for 128MB RAM (PC133 type)

Anyone know anywhere, which are cheaper than Insight’s price?

Just got a new video card - Creative 3D Blaster Riva TNT2 32MB RAM card, got it off from a mate.

Still need to order the motherboard, cpu and memory, maybe I should do that soon before the price increases again.

The 286 came with 12MHz and 650kb of memory, along with 5 1/2 and 3 1/2 diskes.

Fast, eh?

My friend asked me to see if I could fix their computer as it was not working. So I popped over and what did I find? A 286 machine! They said that it’s “a lot different that what I saw at college” Of course, the college machines are P433MHz, which is a lot faster than the 286!
So, I told them that I will take it home and try to fix it. I wonder what’s wrong with it… will keep you updated soon.

Did I tell you that I got a new tie this afternoon?

It has the Taz character, just like my old tie, but with different picture and I like it. I’m going to wear it tomorrow at work.

I’ve been shopping around hardware websites, looking for a good price for the motherboard and the CPU for my new computer. So far, it seems that Insight is the winner with good price.

So, I might be ordering some stuff with them soon. Keep tuned.
